The grand ceremony for celebrating the completion of Phase II Project of Tianwei New Energy is hold on July 26th in  Tianwei industrial park in Chengdu, China.  With our concerted and unswerving efforts, Tiainweiour Phase II project has been completely put into operation in recent days. Phase II construction has been completed, and output capacity of wafers and cells has exceeded 500MW. Technical level and quality of our products are leading in the industry. The all-round completion and commissioning of Phase II project represents that Tianwei New Energy is growing larger and stronger and getting closer to its aim of becoming a global giant enterprise.

The event was glorified by the presence of beautiful flowers and honored with the attendance of many distinguished guests. They include Wu Xiaohua, member of the Law Committee of the 11th National People’s Congress,  Tang Chuanping, Deputy Secretary of CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee, Professor Chen Jun, President of Nanjing University, Xue Qikun, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Dean of School of Sciences of Tsinghua University, Professor Zhu Shining, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Dean of Physics School of Nanjing University, and Professor Du Youwei, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc.

Tianwei New Energy is built through a three-phase project with a total investment of about $ 2 billion. Capacity plan is wafer 1.5GW, cell 1.5 GW, module 1.5GW.Phase III construction is expected to be completed in 2012.
