History+Quality assurance

Tianwei Group was established in 1958, and has always been dedicated to the development of the electric power industry. Tianwei ranks first in the world as the transformer supplier for the Three Gorges Power Station - the largest hydro-power project on the planet - as well as the exclusive domestic provider of large transfomers for China’s nuclear power stations.

Tianwei was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2001.  During the same year, Tianwei began investing in solar technology, quickly becoming one of the pioneers among Chinese domestic solar energy providers.

In 2008,Tianwei Group merged with South Group - a key state-owned enterprise with total assets exceeding RMB157 billion.Today, TWNE is a fully integrated manufacturer of wafers, cells, modules and PV systems.  Utilizing over 7,000 tons of polysilicon capacity under Tianwei Group,TWNE is able to provide high quality and reliable service to all our valued customers.

Quality Assurance System

TWNE has established quality control systems.Product quality is both contrlled from the disivion level and holding company level.Each division has a stringent QA system,which is independent from the production dapartment. The holding company also form a QA department to supervise and coordinate the QA projects  under each division, in lieu of TWNE's quality mindset and the efforts it has made to achieve quality excellence, with its twenty-five year  endeavor in perfecting quality, tianwei new energy has been keeping improving its  process, technology and management expertise.TWNE ’s PV module has passed numerous international  certifications,  including ISO and TUV  certifications.
