As a major sponsor, Tianwei New Energy Co. Ltd (TWNE) participated in the 3rd US-China Green Energy Conference which is held in Suzhou from June 22nd –June 23rd.
Dr. Mike Tao Zhang, Vice President of TWNE, chaired a panel discussion on “Lower Cost in PV Value Chain” in the conference. He and the other four distinguished panelists exchanged their views on key measurements to lower cost and drive the PV industry.
“PV module price is highly fluctuating due to fast changing supply and demand. The competition is getting fiercer .How to lower cost becomes the key issue for most PV manufacturers.” said Dr. Zhang.
Speaking at the panel, representatives from Suntech, Sinosure, BP solar, and HOKU also commented on the issue from technical, financial services, marketing channel and raw materials perspective separately. The profound speech and discussion is well echoed by audience.
